For the coffee lovers, we have a stunning washed Gesha from Finca El Puente, with sweet floral notes of jasmine and flavours of apricot nectar and lychee on the finish.

We’ve been buying coffee directly from Honduras coffee legends, Marysabel Caballero and Moises Herrera of Finca El Puente, since 2018. This Gesha microlot, part of our ‘very special coffee series‘, is further proof of how their meticulous farming practices continue to result in outstanding coffees. It’s no surprise they’ve been past recipients of Cup Of Excellence honours!

On the same day the coffee cherries are picked, they’re de-pulped in the afternoon & left in tanks for fermentation. Once the fermentation process is complete, the coffee is washed and allowed to gently dry in various controlled conditions.

Moisés and Marysabel are continually working to improve the quality of their coffee and processing efficiencies, while caring for their environment. In 2020, they relocated their processing facilities in an effort to reduce water usage. Moisés and Marysabel also place a genuine emphasis on giving back to the local community. Helping to fund the renovation of one of their workers’ homes in Marcala each year.
