THE FINER DETAILS:

• 10 x specialty coffee capsules
• Nespresso® compatible
• 5.5g of ground coffee per capsule
• Home compostable to European standards (as soon as they have an Aus certified one, we’ll be all over it).

SWEET SPOT:

To get as close to the OG cafe experience at home, we recommend a 15ml pour (liquid out) – anything beyond that won’t be extracting any more from the coffee, just adding more hot water. If you want a stronger brew, pop a second capsule in.

ABOUT ME:

The capsules are a bioplastic, made using renewable raw materials. Biocap is Carbon Neutral (as are we). The biocapsules are produced using energy generated from wind, sun, hydropower and biogas. They are aluminium free & oxygen tight.

The capsules are certified home compostable to EU standards (not AU), but are Compostable to Australian Standard (AS4736). This means your home compost isn’t likely to provide the optimal conditions to break down the capsule shell. They can be placed into some FOGO bins (check with your local council), or other commercial composting collection streams.
