YOUR PERSONAL INFO.

It’s our standard practice to collect personal info directly from you. Sometimes we collect personal information from a third party if you have consented or would reasonably expect us to collect the information in this way.

COMPLIANZ | PRIVACY SUITE

This website uses the Privacy Suite for WordPress by Complianz to collect and record Browser and Device-based Consent. SUBSCRIPTIONS

For the purposes of processing recurring subscription payments, we store the customer’s name, billing address, shipping address, email address, phone number and credit card/payment details.

MAILCHIMP

When shopping, Mailchimp keep a record of your email and the cart contents for up to 30 days on their server. This record is kept to repopulate the contents of your cart if you switch devices or needed to come back another day. Read their privacy policy here.

PAYMENT & SECURITY.

WHAT INFO WE USE & HOW WE USE IT:

When you place an order through this website, we need to know your name, e-mail, phone number, address & credit card details. This allows us to process and fulfill your order successfully. It also helps us in maintaining your account.

We accept payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

 

HOW WE PROTECT YOUR PAYMENT INFO:

When you place orders, we use a secure server. The secure server software (SSL) encrypts all information you input before it’s sent to us. Furthermore, all sensitive customer data we collect is protected by several layers of encryption and several layers of security to prevent unauthorised access.

 

CREDIT CARD DETAILS:

All credit card payments are processed securely through the Stripe Payment Gateway. Payment by credit card is the only option available to purchase on our site. Locale does not store any credit card information on our servers; however, we can keep it on file if you directly request it.

 

PAYMENT GATEWAY INFO:

Credit card payments are made via a 3rd party gateway called Stripe. They are certified to ‘PCI Service Provider Level 1’. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry. All card numbers are encrypted on disk with AES-256. Decryption keys are stored on separate machines. This leading software ensures your personal details are kept completely safe. none of your payment details are processed or stored directly on Locale’s servers unless you’ve directly requested it.
