about me
Pride Blend is a limited release omni roast celebrating queer creativity, community & visibility.
It’s a real taste the rainbow kind of blend. As a black coffee, it’s giving cherry cola, with rich caramel, citrus, loads of tropical fruit sweetness and a distinct banana note. Add milk and the caramel takes charge, shifting it more into banoffee pie, Violet Crumble and Christmas fruit trifle territory. Fruity, sweet and heaps of fun!
Created for Pride Month and running through to our Q-Lit partnership in July, this blend is a special seasonal coffee with a purpose beyond the cup. As part of the campaign, $1 from every bag sold will be donated to Minus18, supporting their work with LGBTQIA+ young people across Australia.
Shaped with input from queer members of our team, and a collab with local queer artist Frances Cannon, we wanted this release to feel thoughtful, expressive & grounded in genuine community connection.
It’s also our first omni roast – built to taste delicious as espresso, milky or filter.

COFFEE DEETS:
Pride Blend combines two coffees from the Colbran family’s Baroida Estate in Papua New Guinea – the washed and natural lots we currently have on offer as single origins.
To bring the extra razzle dazzle, we’ve added a Colombian coffee from Forest Coffee called Pink Bourbon Cake – a wild co-ferment that lifts the blend with even more sweetness, fruit and sparkle.

We’ll be donating $1 from every Pride Blend sold to Minus18: an Australian organisation that supports LGBTQIA+ young people through advocacy, education, community and inclusion work.
Q-Lit is our cultural and event partner – a queer literature and storytelling organisation we’re proud to be partnering with at their Queer Book Fair in July.
ABOUT THE ARTIST:
The artwork for this blend was created by Frances Cannon, a queer illustrator and artist from Pink Ember Studio in Coburg.
We were drawn to Frances’ playful, expressive style and their ability to create work that feels joyful and full of personality – the perfect fit for a campaign centred around queer creativity, community and visibility.
As part of this release, we’re proud to spotlight Frances’ work and bring a local creative collaboration into the heart of the campaign.
