about me

this caturra microlot was produced by John David Molina & his family, on their 4-hectare farm, El Hormiguero located on the side of a deep canyon in Antioquia. Cool, stable temps result in a very slow ripening of the cherry. It’s these unique geological attributes that contribute to the sweetness & complexity of the coffee, with the area becoming known for it’s exceptional cup quality. After selective handpicking, the coffee is pulped & fermented for 48 hrs before being washed with clean water from surrounding streams, then dried for 10-18 days on parabolic beds.

with floral & fruity aromas, this coffee is sweet & creamy with an almost ‘Nutella-like’ finish.
