our organic espresso blend tastes like milk chocolate, sweet spice, raisins & warm hugs.

about me.

this blend speaks for itself! it’s organic, fair-trade & supports sustainable farming, while also contributing to orangutan & rainforest conservation AND donating 5% of sales to charities, community initiatives & funding support at farm level. a beautiful blend of Peruvian & Indonesian coffees, it’s delicate & buttery with a smooth finish.

this one’s for the dreamers who want to drink awesome coffee while saving the world at the same time.

the two origins found in our eco warrior blend have been carefully sourced from the following farms.

orangutan coffee project: indonesia.

origin: gayo highands, sumatra, indonesia
processing method: traditional wet-hulled
species: arabica
varietal: s795
elevation: 1500-2070m above sea level

the orangutan coffee project in Indonesia, which we’ve been supporting for a few years now, is a 360-degree project focused around two main initiatives. first, helping Sumatran coffee farmers operate environmentally friendly coffee plantations to help protect the fragile eco-system.

the second, supports the Sumatran Orangutan Conservation Program (SOCP) that cares for, protects & rehabilitates injured, orphaned & rescued orangutans, all while fighting deforestation!

we’ve committed to an ongoing partnership with OCP. some of our crew were lucky enough to visit Sumatra to see firsthand how the programs are benefiting the communities, rainforest conservation & the endangered local wildlife. If you’d like to read more about this project…we wrote a whole article about it here.

this coffee adds notes of sweet spice, cacao nibs & a pleasant herbal flavour to the blend. with a round, juicy body & a lingering aftertaste.

cajamarca fto: peru.

origin: cajamarca, peru
processing method: washed
species: arabica
varietal: typica, caturra, bourbon
elevation: 1700-1900m above sea level

our fair-trade organic coffee is sourced from the Cajamarca region of northern Peru, near the border of Ecuador. this remote and beautiful region is nestled in the valleys of the Andes mountain range and has the climate and potential to produce some of the world’s finest coffees.

this is a regional selection of coffees from over 800 smallholder farmers. once picked, the coffee is sent to a centralised mill where it is sorted and graded based on quality. Peru is fairly new to the specialty coffee market so it’s exciting to see the quality and potential of Peruvian coffee increase year after year.

this coffee adds flavours of milk chocolate, nougat and stone fruit, with a delicate sweetness & balance.

as mentioned above, in addition to supporting orangutan & rainforest conservation, 5% of eco warrior sales are donated to a charity, initiative or organisation of our choosing each quarter. you can head to our community initiatives blog post for updates on where we’re donating our dollars & learn about the initiatives eco warrior is currently supporting.
