When two hospitality professionals who have travelled extensively making the world their family decide to settle down and have their own, it's not surprising that they head home. In the case of Bec and Renton Pyke this meant setting up their first business as owners in Bunbury, Western Australia, a place they feel has both the creature comforts of the city as well as the slower pace and natural beauty of the country.
They love to make people feel welcome and at home by offering a style of dining that is very approachable, the dishes are best enjoyed sharing style - in the way that it is how we prefer to eat at home with our closest friends and family. Above all, they hope to deliver an experience that reminds you of why it's called the 'hospitality' industry in the first place.
Bec and Renton want the word "Market" to bring to mind seasonality, fresh local produce and a real sense of community which are all things that they hope customers come to expect of them.
