Colombia is renowned for producing some of the finest washed coffees from around the world and the coffee grown in the department of Cauca is no exception. The rich volcanic soil, high annual rainfall and high altitude all combine to create exceptional complexity in the cup. This coffee is produced by approximately 50 growers selected for their quality and cup profile. Growers from this program are often paid premiums up to 20% higher than the market price. The Colombian component adds the vibrant clean acidity, complexity, balance and raisins.

This coffee comes from the rich volcanic soil of the Pocos De Caldas region of Brazil. This superb microclimate is perfectly suited for growing outstanding specialty coffee. All the coffee is handpicked and dried naturally before being meticulously sorted and graded. The growers here support their local community, often providing housing and electricity. This delicious coffee adds sweetness, chocolate and nut flavours to the blend.

The growing region of Chikmagalur in the state of Karnataka in Southern India is an amazingly diverse region and forms part of the Western Ghats, one of the few vitally important global eco hotspots. The growers in this region take particular care to grow shade grown, environmentally responsible coffee with the knowledge that their farming practices and sustainability can have global ramifications. This full bodied and clean robusta brings the heavy body, caramel and dark chocolate flavours to the blend.
